twas the night before christmas...

Well, sort of. We're celebrating Christmas tomorrow at Grandma's house due to the fact that we have to leave on the 26th. This gives the kids an extra day to enjoy their gifts before we travel on. So tonight, in our house & as far as our children are concerned, is the night before Christmas.

Grandma just tucked Gage into bed and the conversation went something like this...

Gage: is it going to be a short night?
Grandma: you are not getting up while we are still sleeping or you are going to have some cranky grown-ups tomorrow!
Gage: but why would anyone be cranky when they are getting all those toys?!

Now I must go and hang the stockings with care...
