As mom of an inquisitive almost five year old, I often feel like a walking wikipedia and I thank goodness for search engines every day. Tonight as we were munching on popcorn and winding down in front of the television (The Wizard of Oz of course), Gage heard the cowardly lion say, "talk me out of it" and he asked what that meant. Grandma went on to explain with words like "persuade" and "convince" which were received with something like, "wait, that's too many big words!" We went round and round and somehow ended up on the word "speechless". When we explained the meaning of this word to him, Gage immediately responds, "I'm un-speechless". That's my boy.
