happy new year!

We celebrate many holidays in our home. Rosh Hashanah happens to be one of them. And, while we admittedly don't spend too much time discussing religion, we did have a brief conversation about Judaism at a friend's house last week. We were sharing with our friends the fact that Gage is "Half-Jewish" and that he will ultimately be able to choose his own religion when he is older.

So tonight, when we were talking about our Jewish New Year celebration (takeout from Max's), Gage excitedly asked Zuzu, "Do you want to be Jewish?" Zuzu's immediate, matter-of-fact reply was, "No, I want to be a mermaid." That's my girl.
