the calm before the storm

Tomorrow is the last day of kindergarten. Oh my. I promised myself that I wouldn't actually cry until tomorrow. Today, instead, I celebrate the fabulous event that was "field day". Complete with foot races, egg races, sack races, bean bags between the knees, flippers on the feet & bouncy balls under the bums. Such simple adventures that made children and parents alike drop everything, forget everything and just plain laugh. The perfect end to a perfect year. And there I go again...
