Tutti Bella has an overwhelmingly large selection of ridiculously priced boutique clothes. I am quite certain, however, that these lovelies would all pass the Zuzu "pretty" test if I gave into temptation.

It's a rare occasion that I pay full price for ANYTHING at Baby Gap because it ends up on the sale rack a week later. It's a rule. Today, however, while strolling aimlessly through the mall during my much needed three hours off, I found this dress. Even on a hanger it had the perfect amount flounce and came in THE most delightful shade of pink for a brown skinned summer babe.

It was time to negotiate with myself. So, I bought it, with the rationale that she will be wearing it to James & Emmilee's beach wedding this summer. If, of course, I can stand to wait that long.

About two years ago I was shopping at Mill Valley Baby & Kids and found this ridiculously expensive dress on sale 50% off. Apparently no one else was interested in it because there were about six left but I was smitten (and deliriously pregnant with a little GIRL). So I bought the smallest size...a 2. Needless to say, it's been hanging in Zuzu's closet ever since.

This morning, Zuzu pulled at it and announced, "I want to wear this". (yes, she's talking up a storm). So I hastily followed her orders and put it on.

OMG. I LOVE this dress.

I immediately pulled at the tag and googled the manufacturer so that I could go buy lots more outrageously expensive but totally unique dresses. Now Baby Ya-Ya is not what I expected but I do think they have potential. Of course I emailed them immediately with pictures of Zuzu and advice for an easier shopping experience. I'm not buying anything new from them now but I am bookmarking them for future views. This dress deserves a sequel!
